What is this thing called love? Whatever it is, it certainly makes the world, and music, go round. Love and romance have been the most powerful source of inspiration to composers of all ages: the euphoric love of Romeo and Juliet, the doomed love of Prokofiev Death of Tybalt... even Beethoven (forever unlucky in love) who entrusted his love song to a solo violin. Eivind Aadland, Kang Wang and Milica Ilic, QSO, spiced with a few typically wry comments from the permanently lovestruck Guy Noble, explore some of music's pinnacles of passion.
