Instrument fund
The instrument fund ensures that the QSO has instruments that match its outstanding talent. Whether it is the update or repair of current instruments or adding to our ‘instrument library’, this fund is crucial for the maintenance of an authentic and vibrant sounding symphony.
With a wide range of interesting and sometimes eclectic repertoire, we need to source the best possible instruments; for example with the creation of the Baroque series in 2013 a high quality harpsichord is vital to the success of the program. Oboe d’amore, basset horns, specialist clarinets, alto flutes, xylophones, various percussion instruments, and even tin whistles are called upon for a unique symphonic experience.
If your company is interested in philanthropic investment in historic instruments, please contact Gaelle Lindrea, Director Philanthropy to discuss how you can help us meet these exacting standards while enjoying a long-term investment in the business of music.
