Eleanor Greenwood

Eleanor Greenwood, a mezzo soprano, made her debut at the International Opera Festival in Wexford, Ireland in 2011 where one of her roles was La Ciesca in Gianni Schicci. She has also sung at the Dorset Opera and the Ryedale Festivals.

Eleanor Greenwood is a graduate of the Australian National University School of Music and the Royal Academy of Music Opera School in London.  She has sung as a soloist and in ensembles on stage and the radio in London, the UK, Australia and most recently, throughout China.

In Australia, Eleanor has worked with Opera Australia, has sung for the Joan Sutherland and Richard Bonynge Foundation and is a regular guest with the Choir of St Andrew’s Cathedral Sydney. In 2017, Eleanor will return to China to tour with the Australian International Opera Company.

In 2015, Eleanor won the Australasian Opera Competition at the Sydney Eisteddfod and in 2013 and 2015 was a participant at the Lisa Gasteen National Opera School.
