QSO School Partnerships

Queensland Symphony Orchestra is proud to provide School Partnerships to a range of schools from the Brisbane metropolitan regions, as well as regional areas of Queensland.

Students and teachers are treated to specially designed musical experiences to enhance current curriculum and add value to the school music program. QSO musicians help lead students through your choice of workshop topics, giving your students a wonderful experience designed to enthuse and inspire.

So far in 2011 QSO has worked with:

  • Kenmore State High School
  • Chapel Hill State School
  • Indooroopilly State High School
  • Corinda State High School
  • Junction Park State School
  • Norman Park State School and
  • Brisbane State High School (this ongoing partnership is supported by Arts Queensland's Artist in Residence Grant).


Regional:

  • Empire Theatre - Toowoomba
  • The Cathedral School - Townsville
  • Maryborough Central State School
  • Toowoomba Regional Music Camp
  • A Symphonic Experience - Arts Centre, Gold Coast
  • Fraser Coast - with support from the Regional Arts Development Fund
