Following sold-out performances for the first installment, The Fellowship of the Ring in 2012, the Queensland Symphony Orchestra is pleased to announce The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers will be presented for one show only this October at Brisbane’s Riverstage.

There will be food stalls on site with fare including Malaysian & Indonesian cuisine, ice cream & churros, coffee & hot chocolate, kebabs, nachos, corn on the cob and drinks. Gluten free options will be available.
Orders for Hobbit Hampers are now closed. If you have ordered a hamper it can be collected from Wine and Dine'm Catering on site on the night of the concer.
Gates - IMPORTANT
Gold ticket holders are requested to enter through Gate 3. To reach this entrance follow the footpath along the river, passing behind the stage, until you reach the opposite side of the Riverstage venue (furthest from the city).
Silver and Bronze ticket holders are requested to enter through Gate 1, which is adjacent to the QUT Gardens Point campus.
Parking is available near the Riverstage in Secure Parking's Parkade car park for only $5.00 (online booking weekend rate). Simply book online via this link and you will receive a PIN code to enter the car park (exit before midnight).

As the Riverstage is an outdoor venue, in the event of heavy rain, continuous rain or very strong winds, this event may be cancelled and a refund issued.
In the unlikely event that the performance is cancelled, information will be posted on our website at http://qso.com.au/thetwotowers, as well as on our Facebook and Twitter.
This is an all-ages event and children are welcome, however children 12 years old and under must be accompanied by a paying adult. Accompaniment by a paying adult is also recommended for children between the ages of 13 and 15.
Please also note that the film The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers is classified Mature (M) and contains material of a moderate impact that may require a mature perspective. Click here for more information on this classification.
General Admission (Bronze tickets) means that there is no allocated seating, and patrons may either sit on the ground (most of the venue is grassed areas on a gentle slope, and you are welcome to bring a rug to sit on) or stand.
Chairs are provided for patrons with Gold Seating and Silver Seating tickets.
Food and drink
Unfortunately no food, drink or alcohol can be brought into the Riverstage. Refreshments and food will be available inside the venue.
In addition to food and drink, patrons are not permitted to bring the following into the Riverstage: Chairs, umbrellas, cameras, video or audio recorders of any type, skateboards, studded fashion items, laser pointing devices, torches, fireworks of any kind, full (or empty) beverage bottles, cans & containers.
Please note that the Cloak Room facility is only for holding prohibited items that can’t be taken into the venue such as those outlined above in restricted items.
