QSO Connect School Package
We want to engage with even more schools around Queensland, so that more students have the opportunity to be involved with music, whether it be through learning, listening, performing, or composing music.
In 2021, all Queensland schools are eligible for a free QSO Connect School Package.
Each package includes online access to digital education concerts, learning and composition resources tailored to the curriculum, and online ensemble activities.
Each QSO Connect School is also invited to apply for a free Musical Mentors session (one hour of in-person or online mentorship from a QSO musician).

#How your school can engage
Every Queensland school is invited to apply for a one-hour visit or online session with a QSO musician, free of charge, supported by Frazer Family Foundation, if they sign up to a QSO Connect School Package (conditions apply). Extra sessions or engagement with additional musicians may be purchased.
Designed to develop students’ creativity and understanding of writing for orchestral instruments, Queensland Symphony Orchestra has created an online composition program including a suite of written resources and composition videos featuring QSO musicians and linking to the Australian and Queensland curriculum. Please contact us for more information or if you would like to access these resources.
Each QSO Connect School has free access to recorded or live-streamed education concerts. Digital learning resources tailored to the music curriculum, are available as an accompaniment to Brisbane Education Concerts and Digital Education Concerts.
QSO Connect Schools will have opportunities to play virtually with a QSO musician or group of musicians. Please contact us for more information, or for pricing for online mentorship or in-person visits from QSO musicians.
