2016 Music Teachers Professional Development Day

Presented in collaboration with DETE, OperaQ, Ellaways Music and Good to Great Schools
QSO is delighted to host the Music Teachers Professional Development Day in conjunction with Department of Education and Training, Opera Queensland and Ellaways Music.
The seminar will feature keynote sessions with sessions on conducting choirs and ensembles, curriculum, voice care as well as instrument specific sessions.
QSO and Opera Queensland will also present their 2017 Education Programs.
Students, teachers and adults involved in music tuition, tertiary and music education courses welcome.

The English Family Prize for Young Instrumentalists
Open to Queensland Secondary School Students performing on an orchestral instrument (including saxophone) at a minimum standard of AMEB Grade 7 or equivalent.
Entries close on Wednesday 30 November 2016.
