Canticum Chamber Choir

Devoted to presenting high-quality repertoire in a diverse range of styles, Canticum Chamber Choir enjoys a reputation as one of Queensland’s finest choral ensembles.

Under the leadership of founding Music Director Emily Cox since its inception in 1995, the full choir (women and men) has been honoured to collaborate with professional companies such as Queensland Symphony Orchestra (most recently in 2017 with Handel’s Messiah), Queensland Ballet and Queensland Youth Symphony Orchestra. The choir featured in both seasons of 'Brisbane Baroque', have sung under the baton of many renowned conductors including Ottavio Dantone, Richard Gill, Erin Helyard, Geoffrey Lancaster, and Benjamin Northey, and from October 2017 through February 2018 performed at regular intervals in GOMA’s 'Gerhard Richter: The Life of Images' exhibition.
