Ein Na

Ein Na is a 14-year-old violinist attending school at Somerville House and she is currently studying violin with Spiros Rantos. In 2019, at the age of 10, she won first prize and the Special Achievement Award at the Brisbane International Youth Music Competition, and she also toured Europe as a soloist with the Tagiev Chamber Orchestra. In 2021, she was awarded her LMusA Diploma with Distinction and received first prize in the Diploma Section of the AUSTAQ Concerto Competition. The following year, 2022, she was the winner of the 47th John Curro National Youth Concerto Competition at 13 years old, as the first Queensland winner in 20 years since Ray Chen. In March 2023, Ein competed in the finals of the Kendall National Violin Competition, winning first prize with the Kendall String Academy and received a concert violin made by master luthier Michal Prokop. In 2023, Ein performed in the Young Virtuosi Concert as part of the 4MBS Festival of Classics and she also performed with the Brisbane Symphony Orchestra at Brisbane City Hall. Most recently, Ein won first prize in the 2023 QSO Young Instrumentalist Prize and attended, with early acceptance, the 2023 Heifetz International Music Institute Summer Program.
