Queensland Symphony Orchestra is an orchestra for all Queenslanders, bringing the live performance of orchestral music concerts to you. 

Every year we tour our great state, sharing beloved classics and new music with people from the outback to the beach, the rainforest to the city. From our Brisbane concerts to Regional tours, our symphony orchestra is eager to delight!

Our Queensland Orchestra is proud to provide live concerts Brisbane locals love, and all across the state, contributing to the artistic fabric of Queensland. Our professional musicians excel on their chosen instrument and their experience is evident in every performance.

QSO’s talented symphony orchestra brings world-class performances to audiences across the state, extending far beyond South East Queensland. We have a long history of live performances, hands-on workshops, and dynamic online sessions that see our musicians connect with students, educators, and communities throughout Queensland. 

Our musicians love to take to the stage to create opportunities for musical engagement and learning statewide. Each regional performance is tailored to reflect local audiences and venues, from Cairns, Port Douglas, Townsville and Sunshine Coast concerts to showcasing classical music to Gold Coast, Mackay, Rockhampton, Gladstone and Bundaberg audiences. 

Closer to home, our musicians regularly perform in South-East Queensland with education sessions and live shows. Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Toowoomba and Brisbane City are some of the places in which the QSO performs frequently.
