Peter and the Wolf - Education Resource

A childhood favourite, this education resource breaks down themes and instrument families while telling the story of Peter and the Wolf. This resource includes QSO's own digital concert recording. Recommended for P-Year 2.

Composed by Benjamin Britten, this work introduces listeners the instrument families of the orchestra and then how instruments combine to create an Orchestra. Recommended for Years 7-8.

A comprehensive resource focused around 2 famous pieces of repertoire by Ludwig van Beethoven and Sir Edward Elgar. This resource is recommended for Years 7-12.

Originally composed as a ballet and then as an orchestral suite, the characters in the this story are represented by different scales. Recommended for Years 7-12.
