Cremorne Theatre, QPAC

The Cremorne Theatre is QPAC’s most intimate venue, where audiences can get up close to the performance.

Cremorne Theatre, QPAC

#The Cremorne Theatre is QPAC’s most adaptable venue.

It can be converted from traditional proscenium to theatre-in-the-round, concert, cabaret, cinema or flat floor modes, depending on the needs of the production.

With a maximum seating capacity of 277, audiences and performers can get closer to each other.

This makes the Cremorne ideal for creative productions, cabaret, intimate concerts, theatre, launches, conversations and lectures.

#Facilities

Box Office and Cloakroom

The Box Office and cloakroom for the Cremorne Theatre are located at the ground floor entrance. Large bags and umbrellas must be left at the cloakroom.

Eat & Drink

The Cafe, located on the ground floor at the Grey Street entrance to QPAC, is open every day and offers a variety of meals for the whole family.

The foyer bar and merchandise stand are located on the Stalls level.

Check with the bar staff during your visit, but it is usually OK to take drinks into the theatre, as long as they are in plastic cups.

Toilets

There are toilets on the ground floor, stalls and balcony levels of the Cremorne Theatre.

Lifts

A lift provides access to the Cremorne Theatre foyers from the ground floor. Check your ticket for your door number and go to Level 1 for Doors 1 and 2, or Level 2 for Doors 3 and 4.

#What should I wear?

It’s not necessary to get dressed up to come to QPAC, although if you are coming to an opening night, it is likely that guests will be dressed to attend a special occasion. Usually smart casual dress is perfect. Because all of our theatres are air conditioned, you may want to bring a light wrap or jacket, especially if you are dressed for Brisbane summer weather.
