At the heart of this concert is Peter Sculthorpe’s Kakadu – a vivid reflection on the changing seasons and the powerful cycle of life and death that is so integral to our land. Digeridoo virtuoso William Barton will breathe additional rhythm and life into this experience with Sky Songs – a moving piece which takes the audience to the deep past, the future, to the majestic Australian landscape and the almost unimaginable wonders of the cosmos.
