Min Jin Sung
Casual Cellist
Min Jin Sung, born in 1993, began learning the cello at the age of 7. She moved to Australia in 2001 and continued her studies with Mei-Lee Stocker. She was awarded with A.Mus.A and L.Mus.A in 2004 and 2006 respectively. In 2008, Min Jin commenced her undergraduate studies at the Queensland Conservatorium, Griffith University with Markus Stocker and graduated with Bachelor of Music with Honours-Advanced Performance Strand. She moved to London to continue her studies, at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, with Richard Lester and graduated with Master of Music in Performance specialising in Orchestral Artistry in 2014. Min Jin is now a dedicated educator, working at Somerville House and performs regularly with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra as a casual musician.
