Here For Queensland
This year Queensland Symphony Orchestra will travel more than 10,000 kilometres across regional Queensland to inspire young musicians, support music teachers and give families the opportunity to experience our state orchestra.
We do this because we are here for Queensland.
How exactly does QSO touring impact regional communities? As well as connecting audiences to outstanding concert experiences, we inspire and engage through education and community workshops and create moments of joy, connection and wonder. Read more in our 2025 Regional Touring Impact Report.
Touring is important – and it is expensive. Each town we visit requires significant investment in air and ground transportation, accommodation and coordination of high‑quality artistic and education programs. In a state this large, we simply cannot do this without support.
