Located within QPAC at South Brisbane, the Glasshouse Theatre is easily accessed via Russell Street (entry from Grey Street), internal walkways linking QPAC venues, and the South Bank end of the Cultural Precinct.

Designed as a state-of-the-art addition to the Queensland Performing Arts Centre, the Glasshouse Theatre is a 1,500-seat venue in Brisbane that supports a diverse range of performances, including orchestral performances by Queensland Symphony Orchestra. Walking

The venue is a 15 minute walk from Brisbane CBD, reached by crossing the river on the Goodwill Bridge (footbridge) or the Victoria Bridge.

Parking

Parking options include the Performing Arts Car Park and the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre

Train

South Brisbane train station is on Grey Street, centrally located between QPAC, the Convention Centre and Queensland Conservatorium. The train station is on the Beenleigh/Ferny Grove Line.

Bus

Buses run frequently from all directions to the Cultural Centre Busway on Melbourne Street, South Bank. If you are travelling from the city, buses to Southbank depart from Adelaide Street, Queen St, Ann Street, and the Myer Centre busway.

Ferry

CityCat ferries run from the University of Queensland, St Lucia up to Brett’s Wharf, Hamilton. The South Bank Parklands stop is a five minute walk from the venue. CityCats generally run every 20-30 minutes, more frequently on weekends.
