Morning Masterworks

Morning Masterworks

Start your Fridays with a touch of classical brilliance through our Morning Masterworks package. This series features slightly condensed versions of our Maestro concerts, perfectly timed for a convenient Friday morning slot.

Begin with the exhilarating Barber & Prokofiev, which includes Matthew Hindson’s fast-paced Speed, Barber’s emotive Violin Concerto with James Ehnes, and the first movement of Prokofiev’s triumphant 5th Symphony, conducted by Jessica Cottis. Enjoy Strauss’ playful Til Eulenspiegel’s Merry Pranks, Korngold’s cinematic Violin Concerto featuring Daniel Lozakovich, and the third movement of Tchaikovsky’s deeply passionate Pathétique, Symphony No.6, led by Gábor Káli.

Delight in Beethoven’s Coriolan Overture, and Brahms’ powerful Piano Concerto No.1 in D minor with Sir Stephen Hough. Experience the philosophical tones of Strauss’ Also Sprach Zarathustra, and Beethoven’s sophisticated Piano Concerto No.3 with Javier Perianes. Finally, be captivated by Dukas’ enchanting The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, Ravel’s Jazz Age-inspired Piano Concerto in G, and the first movement of Franck’s dramatic Symphony in D minor, conducted by Lionel Bringuier.
