Why do you support QSO?

We have supported the QSO for many years and it is always a joy to hear wonderful music played so skilfully. The teamwork and camaraderie amongst the members of the orchestra is always evident and we particularly enjoy invitations to rehearsals.

An important role of the orchestra is traveling throughout the state’s regions spreading education and excellence. They work with schools and now have a QSO Academy to further develop the careers of young musicians.

What would you say to those considering supporting QSO?

The Music Chair Program provides special opportunities to support particular musicians in key positions and to meet other QSO supporters. Formal government funding is not enough, and we would encourage others to keep this valuable cultural treasure thriving.
