Just Announced: Carreras & Friends

Quintessential Queensland presents Carreras & Friends, a one-night-only stadium spectacular in Brisbane, Saturday 5 December 2026.

Hosted by legendary tenor José Carreras on his 80th birthday at The Gabba, this once-in-a-lifetime global music event brings together some of the world’s most iconic artists, including Robbie Williams, The Corrs, Ronan Keating and Ann Wilson in a live collaboration.

Inspired by the iconic Pavarotti & Friends concerts, this large-scale production unites opera, pop and contemporary music in a seamless evening of duets, solo performances and surprise collaborations. Backed by Queensland Symphony Orchestra and choir, Carreras leads a continuously evolving live journey under the Brisbane sky, transforming The Gabba into a world-class open-air concert.

Add acclaimed artists including Natalie Imbruglia, Darren Hayes, Katherine Jenkins, Sheppard and Mark Vincent to complete the stunning lineup of international performers, with more to come!
