Performance showpiece meets hospitality showcase with Queensland Symphony Orchestra (QSO) welcoming Emporium Hotel South Bank as a supporting partner of its 2026-27 Maestro Series.
A jewel in the crown of QSO’s season, the 10-concert Maestro Series features orchestral favourites, exciting new Australian compositions and rare jewels too, performed by world-renowned conductors, dazzling soloists and talented musicians in the stunning acoustics of the QPAC Concert Hall.
The partnership marks a perfect alignment between QSO and the 143-suite luxury hotel, which was this month named Best of the Best Hotels in Australia and the South Pacific for 2026 in TripAdvisor’s Traveller’s Choice Awards.
Located in the same South Bank precinct, the partners share a commitment to elevating Queensland’s artistic and cultural identity and engaging people through music.
Emporium Hotel South Bank General Manager Julie Manega said the iconic hotel had a proud history of supporting QSO and returning in 2026 to partner on the Maestro Series was a natural extension of this long-standing relationship.
“As neighbours in Brisbane’s vibrant South Bank precinct, we share QSO’s passion for creating memorable experiences that celebrate culture, creativity and connection.”
“The Maestro Series represents the very best of live performance in Queensland, and we are delighted to play a part in supporting an extraordinary season that will inspire audiences and showcase the depth of artistic excellence in our state.”
QSO Chief Executive Officer Michael Sterzinger said the partnership with Emporium Hotel South Bank would help the orchestra continue to deliver world-class musical experiences.
“Both QSO and Emporium Hotel are committed to delivering uplifting, enriching and unforgettable experiences,” Mr Sterzinger said.
“It is a joy to continue working alongside Emporium Hotel to unlock new creative activations and benefits that deliver genuine, reciprocal value.”
Emporium Hotel South Bank joins major partner Shayher Group and fellow supporting partners HopgoodGanim Lawyers, Morgans Milton and Brisbane Entertainment and Convention Centre in championing QSO’s 2026 Maestro Series.
