More Than Music

More Than Music

It's a Way Of Life

“I believe it is very important that smaller communities, in remote places far away from the big cities, be able to experience live music. We need your support to continue to spread music and joy throughout this great and expansive state of Queensland.”

Umberto Clerici, Chief Conductor

Queensland Symphony Orchestra’s valued community of patrons, supporters and partners have told us what QSO means to them. QSO is a moment of relief, to escape the pressures of life for a short while. QSO is a family tradition, where love of music is deeply personal and shared across generations. QSO is an ‘a-ha’ moment, when a future musician is born. QSO is more than music - it's a way of life.

A tax-deductible gift to QSO this end of financial year will enable us to continue our work to make music a way of life for Queenslanders across the length and breadth of this state, through performances and critical programs such as Regional Touring, Community and Education, and Health and Wellbeing.

We kindly ask for your support to continue this transformative work for the benefit of thousands of people across the state. Will you please consider giving a tax-deductable gift of $100, $250, $500 or more to support your state Orchestra? Your generosity will help ensure QSO becomes and remains a part of the lives of our friends right across Queensland.

"From school halls to churches, to beaches and paddocks, to civic centres small and large, there is a long history of enjoying and making music in the regional and remote towns and communities across our broad state. If you can assist, please consider helping our wonderful and talented QSO to continue sharing the power of live music to all in our wide and wonderous state. The joy of listening and learning, of making and sharing music is a gift to and for us all, wherever we may live."
