Brand and Content Manager

We are seeking a Brand and Content Manager to drive visibility and strategic engagement through compelling content and a consistent visual and narrative identity. This role plays a key part in QSO’s audience nurture cycle to help attract new audiences, engage with existing audiences and deepen their connection with the brand, and build advocates.
The role is responsible for implementing QSO’s public relations, content creation, editorial and brand strategy. The Brand and Content Manager will be our wordsmith and editor in chief, responsible for copywriting and editing all collateral. They will also manage and work closely with the Marketing Coordinator and Graphic Designer role; oversee all graphic design assets and collateral; and manage photography and videography, website content, and all eDM communication.
The Brand and Content Manager sits within a department of Sales and Marketing professionals who collaborate closely on campaigns. This role reports to the Director – Sales and Marketing.

What You'll Do
Brand and Content Management:
Oversee and implement all brand, content and communication needs across all areas of QSO’s programs
Collaborate with the Director to develop a unified brand and content strategy, and then implement that strategy across all platforms
Act as a brand custodian, ensuring all content and collateral reflects our identity
Manage website content strategy and updates, ensuring timely and accurate information
In collaboration with the Marketing Campaigns Manager, manage QSO’s email communications (eDMs), including scheduling, content creation, and segmentation strategies
Lead content direction, photograph and video shoots and collaborate with marketing and interdepartmental peers for campaign optimisation and artistic quality
Project manage the annual season content development from concept through to delivery; from briefs and guidelines, content and collateral development through to publication and engagement with external agencies
Be responsible for QSO’s season brochure, annual report, concert programs and QSO collateral (like posters, brochures and campaign materials)
Internal and external stakeholder management:
Public relations – collaborate with your Director to develop our PR strategy; coordinate media opportunities, releases and coverage; and manage media and reviewer attendance and complimentary tickets
Performance and Event attendance – all of our team participate regularly in the marketing team roster to attend performances (which entails evening and weekend hours) and deliver front of house marketing plans. This includes supporting and briefing videographers/photographers on site
Support the Director with planning and regular reporting
About you
Strong editorial skills (both copywriting and editing) and visual storytelling acumen
Demonstrated experience in brand management and content strategy
Experience in PR and media liaison
Experience in website management and marketing automation software (preferably Prospect2) platforms
Experience in social media management and social media management software
Outstanding attention to detail and organisation
High emotional intelligence and collaboration skills
In addition to the above criteria, experience with ticketed events, the cultural sector, managing statewide or local campaigns or familiarity or interest in classical music will see skilled applicants in good stead.
