Joel McDonald

On the home front, he is one of the founding members of Frankie’s World Famous House band which has become one of Australia’s longest running hard rock residencies. He has also featured in many publications including Australian Guitar Magazine.

Internationally, Joel has played and toured with members of Guns N’ Roses, Judas Priest, ACDC, Whitesnake, Rose Tattoo and many more. He has also performed on some of the largest European rock festivals including Bang Your Head in Germany.

Most recently in 2021, Joel fronted the Legends and Icons tour celebrating Eddie Van Halen. This show included a guest roster of Australia’s most well-known guitarists and was met with great success.
