Hannah McLellan

Originally from New Zealand, Hannah McLellan moved to Brisbane in 2023 to begin her studies at the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University, where she studies French horn under the tutelage of Peter Luff and Ysolt Clark. 

Passionate about orchestral music, Hannah has regularly performed with the New Zealand National Youth Orchestra and the Queensland Youth Orchestras, gaining valuable experience in these programs. 

In addition to her love of orchestral playing, Hannah enjoys performing in chamber ensembles. Recently, she had the opportunity to perform Brahms’ Horn Trio alongside members from the Conservatorium. She has also in recent year performed and achieved recognition in the New Zealand Chamber Music Competition.

Hannah is excited to join the Queensland Symphony Orchestra's Academy program this year and looks forward to developing her musicianship!
