Jonah Spriggs

Originally from Regional NSW, Jonah now lives in Brisbane where he has been studying at the Queensland Conservatorium under Michele Walsh for the past 4 years. He will be continuing his studies there to complete the Honours portion of his degree in 2025 alongside his participation in the Academy Program. 

Jonah’s orchestral experience has been made up of involvement with several youth orchestras including the Sydney Youth Orchestra, NSW Regional Youth Orchestra (which provided special opportunities to work with members from the Australian World Orchestra, Sydney Symphony Orchestra, and the Staatskapelle Berlin, as well as recent soloist opportunities) and the Australian Youth Orchestra. On a more constant basis, Jonah has been part of the Queensland Conservatorium Symphony Orchestra for the past 4 years. 

Jonah is extremely excited at the prospect of working alongside the wonderful musicians of the Queensland Symphony Orchestra for the 2025 Academy Program.
