Born in Sassari in 1989, from 2013 he studies singing with Raina Kabaivanska in Modena.
He has made his debut in 2007 in several concerts, and since his debut as Malcolm in Macbeth at Teatro Comunale Bologna conducted by Roberto Abbado, and staged by Bob Wilson, he rapidly makes his debuts in the main tenor roles : Duca in Rigoletto for As.Li.Co, Edgardo in Lucia di Lammermoor in Savona, Alfredo in Traviata at the Rome Opera staged by Sofia Coppola as well as in Tiroler Festpiele in Erl, Tamino in Zauberflote for Circuito Marchigiano.
He immediately made his debuts in the big Italian and foreign Houses, mostly as Alfredo in Traviata (Rome Opera, Erl Festival, La Fenice, Florence, Prague, and for his London debut at Holland Park and Tokyo debut at NNTT), Edgardo in Lucia di Lammermoor in Cagliari and Prague, and taking part at several productions of La Bohéme (Erl Festival, Circuito Marchigiano, Modena, Bari, Klagenfurt, Cagliari). Other debuts have been as Ruggero in La Rondine in Florence, Rinuccio in Gianni Schicchi in Modena and Piacenza, Ferrara and Reggio Emilia, his La Scala debut in a new production of Francesca da Rimini directed by David Pountney and conducted by Fabio Luisi, Simon Boccanegra at Carlo Felice in Genova, I Masnadieri at La Scala and in tournèe in Savonlinna, Donizetti’s Requiem in Modena, Un ballo in maschera in Klagenfurt. He has made his Glyndebourne debut as Nemorino in the 2023 Festival, and will be back to Glyndebourne as Alfredo in Traviata.
Recent engagements include: La traviata and L’elisir d’amore at the State Opera in Prague and in Nancy, La bohème at Teatro Lirico in Cagliari and at Grand Théâtre Massenet in Saint-Etienne, Il Trovatore at Teatro del Giglio in Lucca and in Lubiana with Zubin Mehta.
